Apple is multiplying announcements and very recent tests in France, from the Mac to the connected home, while leaving aside some novelties in its ecosystem. The apple-branded company remains one of the main topics of the week for readers of the French tech press.
Nvidia is not to be outdone: the chipmaker is showing up on several fronts, spanning artificial intelligence, personal computers and investments in the French ecosystem. Microsoft, for its part, is preparing a keynote devoted to Windows and Surface and is redesigning the PC together with the chipmaker, while Google advances Gemini as well as its Chromebooks. Samsung, Asus, Dell and HP are riding this wave with their Galaxy Book, their ProArt machines and their AI PC launches, while Intel prepares the next generation of chips.
The PC is changing its nature, driven by artificial intelligence and by alliances between software and hardware giants. Manufacturers that can offer machines capable of harnessing these new features will have a head start in a market undergoing profound change.
