Beiersdorf stirred up the skincare market in early September 2026: with Eucerin, the group announced a new derma product and later presented DERMOPURE CLINICAL PROBIOM8 for acne-prone skin. In Germany, NIVEA remains the benchmark for skincare.
Other brands are also pushing forward with new offers: Rhode launched at Sephora in September, drawing major attention in the skincare scene, while Curél unveiled its first anti-aging line in early October. lavera made an exclamation mark in natural cosmetics with a big product promotion over the summer. COSRX benefits from strong Amazon performance and persistent demand for Korean skincare. In the drugstore segment, ISANA tested care products in October, and Balea appeared in dm's beauty trends. Alterra is actively promoted in Rossmann's assortment, and DERMASENCE drew attention in October with new information on psoriasis.
The market is thus divided among mass-market brands, drugstore private labels, natural cosmetics, dermatology and international trend products. For consumers, choice is growing noticeably, and competition for buyers' favor will be decided above all by innovations and product tests.
