GBM once again set the pace of the debate on digital investing in Mexico, at a time when the number of online platform clients grew and competition multiplied. Actinver also drew attention in the discussion on investment banking and investing apps, while the market wonders whether Afore savings will find an outlet in new initial public offerings.
In the brokerage space, Finamex, Kuspit and Bursanet appeared in comparisons and rankings of stock purchases, and several of them were cited as reliable options for October 2026. The Bolsa Mexicana de Valores and BIVA, meanwhile, were at the center of the conversation: the BMV announced a cut of up to 32 percent in its planned investments for 2026, and the discussion over new IPOs once again put BIVA in the spotlight. Monex, Inbursa and Vector completed an ecosystem of intermediaries that continues to grow in visibility.
Taken together, the picture is of a sector digitizing at high speed but facing a clear bottleneck: available capital that cannot find enough issues to invest in. In the coming months, the central question will be whether competition among platforms translates into a larger stock market or only into a battle for the same small group of investors.
