Liverpool accelerated its overnight sale and, within a few days, drew a large share of the commercial buzz around fashion in Mexico, forcing its competitors to respond. Suburbia fired back with seasonal campaigns that allowed it to sustain considerable commercial traction.
Shein continues to dominate the conversation on price, turnover and purchase volume, and its fast model puts pressure on any brand that wants to keep pace with young consumers. Zara strengthened its presence with new openings and store moves, while H&M maintains massive visibility in recent discussions and listings. Within Inditex, Bershka, Pull&Bear and Stradivarius benefited from the brand's expansion and renewal in Mexico, with openings that brought their names back into the Mexican spotlight. Massimo Dutti holds its place in the aspirational segment with exposure in plazas across the country, and Primark generated considerable anticipation with its arrival announced alongside Liverpool.
The result is a market in which speed of turnover, price and physical openings weigh as much as design, and the battle for the Mexican consumer's wallet is being fought store by store and campaign by campaign.
